Carrot Cake recipe
Ingredients
375mls - 13ozs PK Foods Flour Mix
50ml - 2ozs Vegetable oil
50gms - 2ozs Brown sugar
50gms - 2ozs White sugar (castor)
200gms - 7ozs Grated carrot
125gm - 4ozs Crushed pineapple with juice
2 Tsp Barkat Baking Powder
½ Tsp Bicarbonate of soda
¼ Tsp Salt
1 ½ Tsp Cinnamon
50mls - 2oz Water
Method
1. Pre heat oven to 350OF, 160OC or gas mark 4.
2. Combine oil with white and brown sugar using electric mixer at low speed.
3. In another bowl, blend together the dry ingredients. Add to oil and sugar mix. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
4. Pour batter into round greased pan (8 or 9).
5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
